On the Knife's Edge: ending the silence

so i had a little unintentional blog silence there. here's a list of some highlights from the past month...

2 1/2 weeks with the Demlows

Waking up to little girl voices
Miriam "reading" "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" to me (she is only 2 1/2, reading is a couple years off)

Dora the Explorer Slip and Slide with my nieces

finding Lost season 4 for FREE at the GR Public Library
Mint Chocolate Chip cookies
Hayward Family Father's Day (celebrated a week before the official one)
A long walk with Rachel
Father's day (with my Mom's side of the family)
Lots of time with Wendy, Steph and their friends/family in California
Jana coming to Cali for the weekend

Not leaving my wallet near San Diego (there was a "missing wallet fiasco" and i was afraid i'd left it 1 1/2 hrs away the night before i was supposed to fly home)

Starting to "get settled" again in Spring Arbor - i'm unpacking the boxes, and suitcases, and finding homes for things in drawers and closets. this is a big deal after how transient i've been for the past 4 months. While i'm "getting settled" i'm also working on "packing up" my trailer, and sorting through my earthly possessions trying to figure out what to keep and what to pitch, sell or give away.
