"Joy House" that's what i've decided to name my new house. (its the yellow 2 story house somewhat hidden behind trees in the first pic) I feel like this house is a gift. I really love living here compared with my old apartment building. Sure - there are some quirks (like the ants i've declared full scale war on, and low water pressure)- but its just so charming. i like walking down the little alley. i like my plants. bottom line i love my home.

Stephanie comes back on Friday. I'm so excited. Also, she has a friend (Wendy) who is going to be here for awhile (we don't know how long...just playing it by ear) to help with I-Sanctuary. She's coming on Friday too...so this little makan is going to go from just me to 3 real quick. It will be really different living with 2 roomies - but i'm excited for it! Living alone wasn't "bad" or "hard" necessarily, but i'm looking forward to the community that comes with living together!
