a few more random thoughts...

There is a cat that lives in/near the office building. twice now i've been walking up the stairs and the cat has come running around the corner on its way down stairs. I'm pretty sure my heart skips a beat every time it does that to me. How do you prepare mentally for a cat in the stairwell?!?

I'm totally obsessed with this stuff called Mango Pickle. its nothing like pickles in the US. Its salty, and garlicky, and spicy - just a really strong flavor (i also really like lime pickle...same idea, but chunks of lime instead). Usually you eat pickle with rice and dal (lentils)...but i've been having it with potato chips the past few nights...i just can't get enough mango pickle.

it hasn't rained in about a week. now i carry my umbrella around and i don't get to use it. After 10 days straight of rain i was just getting used to it...not there's none, and just when i get used to this again and decide to leave my umbrella at home, i know i'll get drenched!

i have a little lizard living in my house. i noticed him a few days ago. he's really cute. he's about 2 inches long. i jump and get scared every time i see him - but so far i've decided to let him hang around i mean, he's cute, and i bet he eats ants (don't burst my bubble if you know otherwise). I'm not sure why its okay to have a lizard running around, but not ants. maybe cause the lizard doesn't call a couple hundred buddies and invade my cupboards. Anyway, i'm not gonna kick him out - if stephanie decides she wants to get rid of him she'll have to do it herself. So, even though i'm a little nervous about getting attached since steph might kick him out - i've decided i should name my lizard friend. i mean, why not?! so, i'm open for name suggestions for my new little friend...
