i'm reading a book. "Nonviolence - 25 lessons from the history of a dangerous idea" by Mark Kurlansky. i've been wanting to read it for a year. Rob Bell mentioned it in a sermon series... and the book got added to my reading list...it just took awhile to actually get the book in my hands. I've read 2 chapters so far...and its amazing. i highly recommend it...and if you live near my i'll let you borrow it when i'm done. :)
also, after i posted about "Behold the Lamb" i remembered that i forgot to share one of my favorite parts of the concert...the artists...they just regular people. its such a stark contrast to the Hollywood image of a star. they look like the regular people they are. like they were sitting together in their living room hanging out and suddenly thought, "oh, lets sing and play this music." no fancy clothes. no hair and make-up artists...just people...like me and like you. i think if you bumped into them in the grocery store, or hardware store, or church they'd look just the same as they did on stage...and i love that. its simple, i know. but true.
