my first week of work

i have to say my first week of work was great! i really like my department. the ladies are all really welcoming, and fun...and its easy to see how i'll build friendships with them! in terms of the actual work, things were a bit weird this week cause i didn't have access to any computer stuff (we were waiting for me to be issued a log-in ect). but even what i was able to do was good - not too monotonous, not "mindless" - i think i'll like it.

but here's the most exciting part to me. before i started work i would say (because it was true) that i was excited about building relationships with the people i would work with - and excited to be a part of God revealing Himself to them (in any way He might use me). it was true...but theoretical...but now, now i say it with heart! its amazing to me how quickly God writes people into my heart. how quickly He gives me a vision for praying for these women and entering into life with them.

it was a good week...

in terms of the transition to working and to "real life" as a whole...work was good...but i didn't move back to my trailer yet...one step at a time. the plan is to do that saturday...so, we'll see how that transition goes!
