oh the possibilities...

My friend Megan is in town. We're friends from 8th grade. The first person i met when i moved to Spring Arbor (for some reason she was the only first and last name i remembered...and we quickly became friends).  we've been around the block a few times together...and right now she is in my house in Kolkata.

this is amazing.

it is such a joy to have her in town...to take her to Sari Bari...to show her the sights and sounds and normals of my life.

when Megan was planning her trip she asked me if there was anything she could bring, and at first i said no...but then i got to thinking...Megan home schools her kids...and is an amazing mom (so creative). So i told her a bit out training at Sari Bari...and how i'd like some educational games. things that help develop fine motor skills, problem solving, basic math, etc.

So Megan rolled into town with a HUGE suitcase full of games and activities for the Sari Bari women...and my brain is still just a little melted by her generosity, and by all the treasures she brought. i just can't believe it. i keep looking at the suitcase (i was like a kid on Christmas morning opening it up!).

Oh man...i just look at that stack of games and activities and dream of all the possibilities. I dream of training at Sari Bari being even better. I dream of equipping the teachers at Sari Bari more than i have. I dream of better...of more...of putting some amazing tools in the hands of some very amazing teacher. I dream of laughing with the ladies, and joking as i teach them a new game.

it's like a suitcase full of dreams.
a suitcase full of joy!
