i don't know why the pictures never load in the direction i want them to....it makes no sense...like blogspot is trying a little too hard to be helpful and ends up being NOT helpful...
so hot season is here. in full force. The heat index has been in the neighborhood of 115 all week (with a forecast of more than that for the weekend...)
last hot season Anil started wrapping his water bottle at Sari Bari in wet fabric. He said it was "natural refrigerator" and when i drank out of his bottle it was really cooler...but for some reason i was never motivated to have him make one for me...
...that that has changed this year...drinking hot water is not awesome...and it's so hard to stay hydrated anyway in this heat...why not make it a bit easier...so yesterday i had Anil make me a water bottle...and then i convinced Sheila and Brooke to do it too...
so then last night i got to thinking...if wet fabric makes my water bottle cooler...shouldn't it work for me too? ...and i'm glad to say that yes, in fact, it does!
today when i told the SB folks my idea and what i did they were aghast..."don't do it moushumi...you'll get sick. it seems like a good idea now, but after 4 days you are going to be so sick. you're going to get a cold."
...i told them it was a risk i was willing to take...

Great idea. And my Chinese friends would probably be worried about you getting sick, too!
