some things i thought you'd like to see...

This scary mama likes to hang out here...which is about 15 feet from my bedroom window. she has a nest on the veranda below ours - and watches it...well, like a hawk. she sits here and makes that hawk sound - and swoops any crows that get near her nest - and any people who happen to be on our veranda...my hope is that she'll at least keep the crows off the veranda (although, she'll also keep us off!)
Why?!?! because we can!




i've done some "work" on my room recntly - had some picture "frames" made - and finally got the drill guy over so i could hang them up. one of the things i love about hanging things in india is that it doesn't matter what you're planning to hang up - they're going to put a screw in the wall that could hold something very very heavy...so here are some pictures of my room...my little projects i've been up to. and while part of me said i should clean my room before i took pictures - well, i just ignored that voice in my head...
