The infamous "Electri Mistri" came to our flat. he fixed our kitchen light (again) and brought his drill along so we can hang up lots of new treasure on our walls...and my wind chimes (made my Merilee...mailed to me - a sweet piece of home) had previously been hanging from a clothespin on the clothes line...no more - they have a home.And i worked on making my home a little more mine too. i've had borrowed curtains (which needed to be moved to the guest room, which inspired me to take action on getting my own curtains...something i've been wanted to do for awhile)...and while they'd probably look better if i'd paid someone to do it...and it wouldn't have cost much - this little creative/do it yourself project was exactly what my heart wanted to do today.
and those chocolate chip cookies i've been wanting to bake all day...they've moved to the top of the list for tomorrow!
