on a saturday night...

What did you do saturday night? we were sitting around the apartment trying to figure out what to cook for dinner (the fridge was quite bare)...and had the brainstorm of leaving for the airport (to pick up sheila) a little early so we could swing by McDonalds for dinner.

what i find "sad" about this little story is how incredibly excited i was about going to McDonalds. i had baby-teeth last time i was that excited about going to McDonalds. in the states i don't eat at McD's (EXCEPT for during March when they have Shamrock Shakes...then i'm a regular!) and honestly, if there was another chain of fast food to choose from here, i'd pick them (burger king...taco bell...wendys...really, ANY chain)

only in Kolkata does a grown woman enjoy McDonalds as much as i did on Saturday Night...

...man, it sure felt like home!
