SkyMall Magazine - i love to look at it...but it also baffles me. i mean, seriously, have you, or anyone you've known bought anything from it? there's so much creative (but largely unnecessary) stuff in it. a few of my all time favorites...the pages with props from popular movies (you can get Harry Potter's wand, or "the one ring" from Lord of the rings), and the hot dog toaster (heats hot dogs and buns at the same time)., and automatic water fountain for your pets.
The flight from JFK to Delhi is LONG, LONG, LONG (i think it was 14 hrs in the air!)
Touch screen consoles on the chair in front of you (to control movies, tv, and video games) may be a really good idea in theory, but i can attest that in reality its incredibly annoying. multiple times in the flight the person behind me was just poking the screen over and over and over (and moving my chair while he was at it).
oh, and my final suitcase weight announcement...the first scale my dad and i put them on weighed them at 49.5 lbs and 50lbs (that's pretty amazing packing!)...the scale they actually got checked in on did 48.5 and 49. either way, i win!
