A Camp-out!

We had a camp out in the back yard on Saturday night. it was wonderful. admittedly i wasn't sure what to expect, and was a little hesitant. we had a blast! My friend anna lent me her "ice cream ball" before i came down. you put the stuff in, play with the ball for a 1/2 hr...and viola! ICE CREAM! and then we read stories, "The Berenstain Bears and The Ghost of the Forest" (the best part is Miri making ghost sounds), and "Curious George goes camping." and then i stayed in the tent while the girls fell asleep. i'd brought out a bean bag, so i was comfy, listened to music and crocheted. and as i fell asleep later between the girlies i just kept thinking, "i can't believe i get to do this!" I've done a lot of camping...but this was such a special treat. no heavy backpack. a nice cushy sleeping bag...and 2 cutie pies. YES!

i'm pretty sure life doesn't get much better than this.

Tina surprised us in the morning (she had to sleep inside with Baby Elsa) with breakfast outside (of all things!?!?!?). Pop-tarts and chocolate milk for the girls...and coffee and pop-tarts for me.
