Advent

So today at church i found out that today is the first sunday of Advent. How did it get to be advent?!?! its not cold, there are no christmas trees, thanksgiving was, well, weird. I can't believe its already Christmas time. I have christmas music playing trying to "get me in the mood."

I'm excited about Christmas this year, and i'm thinking about ways to celebrate. Not just Dec 25 - but thinking of way to engage in this advent season...these weeks where we wait, and prepare. Where we expect. oh...Hope has come, and that is reason to celebrate...even if there is no snow.
