I think the rains are over. it hasn't rained in 10 days, and people say its over. I stopped carrying my umbrella around - so it would seem that i've made it through my first monsoon!
Another big festival starts tomorrow. It lasts 9 days, and I guess this one involves lots of dancing, and probably fireworks too. one thing is for sure...there's a lot of parties here!
I walk past a building everyday on my way to work (well lots of buildings) - but this one is being built. Its been fun to watch the progress (it's quite slow) - but the building is getting close to finished. When you walk by day after day it doesn't seem like anything has happened...but then when i think back to 8 months ago when i first started walking past...well, they've made a lot of progress. Last week they've started painting it. so far they're using different colors, and i can't tell if its going to be lots of different shades of blue, or if they're painting samples so they can decide. i guess time will tell.

fun pics, your hair's getting long and do you realize you're wearing comparitively massive earrings in some of those pics? I'm pretty sure i've never seen you wear any that big.
