An Empty Folder

Truthfully, I’ve come across a lot of empty folders on the computer as I’ve been organizing files…but there is one in particular that is heavy on my heart. When there is a raid that we are involved with, we start a folder to keep the files for all of the girls who were rescued in that raid. Recently, there was a raid that was a bit of an emotional roller-coaster. At first things went really well – and we thought we were going to bring out quite a few ladies/girls but as the night went on things took a turn for the worse. When it was all said and done, none of the girls were rescued.

We’re working to try to secure their release even now – and God has clearly been at work in the past few weeks. His presence with us is clear – but there is still a lot to be done – and it will still take time. I’d invite you to join with me in praying for this process – and for the protection of the girls, that we would be able to find the specific girls from that raid, for their release, for wisdom for our team, and for encouragement as we work though these issues.
