seems like a waste to me

yesterday i went to a coffee shop to meet a friend. now, in case you don't live here, you need to know that it was BEAUTIFUL yesterday. it was in the 80s and the sun was shining! i walked into the coffee shop, and sat down in a big comfy chair...and noticed that the fireplace was lit. it just struck me as odd, on such a nice warm sunny day to have the fireplace lit. then, i realize that the air conditioner was on...and i thought it was really strange...the air conditioner AND the fireplace. it just seemed like a waste to me.
