So, in theory i'd be half way to New York right now...but that's just a theory at this point. All Delta Flights were cancelled to JFK today. they had high winds. So, i stood in line for a few hours, and then this really nice ticket agent was able to book me a totally different itinerary for tomorrow.
So, tomorrow, my parents will drive me to the airport again...I leave at 3PM, fly to Cincinatti, and then Cinci to Paris, Paris to Mumbai, and Mumbai to Kolkata. I'll be arriving in Kolkata at 9 AM on Sunday the 18th now (that will be 11PM-ish on Saturday EST).
I have really short lay-overs, except in Mumbai. I'm there overnight (from 11 pm til 7 am). i'm a bit nervous about being alone with such a long overnight layover. I'm sure it will all workout just fine though...
When i was talking with Jara (my contact at WMF) she said that if i couldn't get to NYC for my flight tonight, then i'd have to cancel the flight, mail my tickets to the travel agent, and then have them mail tickets back to me...and i wouldn't have been able to leave until next week. (i was handling the stress really well until that point...then i got tears in my eyes). i just feel all ready to go, I've said all my goodbyes, packed ect...and now i have nothing to do but wait...so, i'm thankful i only have to wait for a day.
Kyle and Jesse both were able to get to New York, so they're flying as planned before. Karli had to cancel her ticket, and she'll be flying out a week from today.
so...that's the latest India news...i'm still in Spring Arbor.

You are loved my Mel! Just remember that it's really not toilet seats or door knobs that have the most germs on them--it's shopping carts! And we both know you won't be using any of those during your 8 hour layover... :)
did you forget something back home, and god knew it?
Ranay<><
I'm thanking God for protecting you already....there is a reason for everything...I'm sure there is a wondbeautiful experience that you will get to encounter that you wouldn't have otherwise - just keep your eyes and heart open for it.....love ya tons.
