you look horrible

you rarely have to wonder what the SB ladies think of something.

when we get tan we're certain to hear, "you got dark. you look bad."

and when i cut my hair i'm certain to hear, "why did you cut your hair. it was better long."

and if i lose weight i'll hear, "oh moushumi, what's wrong with you?!?! you are looking so thin."

but i think one of the best conversations happened last week (when i got back from Thailand)...

"oh moushumi. what happened to you?!?! you look horrible. you don't even look like yourself. are you even Moushumi?!?!"

granted, i did look pretty disheveled...but still, it wasn't that bad...or not that much worse than normal.

as i was leaving for the day i told her i'd see her on Tuesday...and she said, "well, between now and tuesday do something about your appearance!"

so tuesday morning as i was getting ready i thought to myself, "I need to make myself at least presentable...i can even choose to wear a nicer shirt"

oh, and i put on earrings. when i forget to put them on i get scolded.

and when i walked into the room on Tuesday morning i was greeted with approval. "oh, moshumi, good job. now you look like yourself. you look so nice today."
