There is a movie called, "Outsourced." i haven't seen it, but i've heard its funny. there is also a new TV show (with the same premise) coming out this fall (maybe its already out in the US).
a guy runs a call center in the US for an American novelty company. his call center gets outsourced to India, and he goes to India to work in the call center there.
the other day we watched the previews for the show. there's a scene where he's traveling in an auto-rickshaw when he gets to India and he says, "Its like frogger, but with real people." hilarious. true.
since seeing that clip the phrase runs through my mind as i live through my own daily frogger game. it makes me laugh to myself. sometimes i wonder how i make it across the road. sometimes when i'm trying to cross the street, and taxis, and auto rickshaws cut the corner really close i have these mental images of the taxi running over my feet - and how much that would hurt my flip-flop clad feet. in some ways i feel like its only a matter of time....but lets hope not.
so, here's to frogger. made it another day :)
