The Orange Ball

My mom said i should post this...so i figured, why not?!?!

Apparently the Queen of the Netherlands's birthday was last week. (news to me). In Dhaka there are "Country Clubs" but there clubs for people of different nationalities. Pools, tennis courts, food from "home" (wherever that may be)...i've had some great salads at the American Club! anyway, the "Dutch Club" put on an "Orange Ball" the invitation actually said "Dress code: Orange"

Some of our friends were going and twisted our arms into going (okay...didn't take that much twisting!). had a blast. i'm all for a birthday party - even if the birthday girl isn't even there!
