My friend Sarah is one of the people i'll be sharing life with when i move to kolkata. Her blog is linked on the side of mine - but here is a recent post of hers that i wanted to share more proactively than normal.
Sarah's perspective is one of longevity. She has lived in Kolkata for a long time. She has both celebrated and mourned deeply. I'm thankful for the voice she is in my life...and look forward to sharing life with her more deeply. But for now, i'm thankful for the way she can share the reality of the joy and struggle of the work God is doing in Kolkata in ways that i can't yet. I thought that reading this would give you new eyes to see what my heart is so clearly drawn to.
