tight pants

A couple weeks ago i went shopping with some of my friends. They wanted to buy me an outfit. These "tight pants" as i call them (really they're called Churidar) are really in style. I've seen ladies walking around with very tight pants, and i've wondered how they got them on...and i didn't know it, but i was about to get a lesson in tight pants.

I was in the fitting room trying to get the pants on. it was hard. i was inching them up little by little...and not making much progress. I just figured this was what it took to wear the cute tight pants (especially since i'd seen ladies walking around with pants that tight!). after awhile my friends called out wondering what was taking me so long - and i told them i was having trouble getting the pants on. they told me to come out - and i did (even though my pants only went up to my mid-thigh...the top is long, so i covered - but not comfy...or agile). it was determined that the outfit was cute - but that i would definitely need bigger pants. as it turns out, its not supposed to be that difficult to get the pants on.

So then i had to get the pants off...which proved to be even more difficult than getting them on. the ankles are really tight...well, in this case everything about the pants was tight...and i got stuck. one of the legs was half off, and i couldn't get it any further. i was hopping around in the dressing room and finally called for reinforcements. One of my friends had to come and help me get those crazy pants off.

now i know how tight the pants are supposed to be - and that it shouldn't take 10 minutes to get them halfway on...and you shouldn't need a friend to help you get them off! the picture above is the outfit they got for me...we went for the bigger size pants!
