taken care of

Today I went to the Dr. and she perscribed some anti-biotics. She perscribed some last time i visited too, but i didn't take them (cause she told me it was a viral infection, but that it would likely lead to a bacterial infection, and that i should take the antibiotics to prevent the sickness dragging out...advice which i chose to ignore...and here i am 10 days later still sick. maybe i shouldn't be so stubborn - but at the same time i know enough biology to know that taking antibiotics for a viral infection won't do ANY good at all!). She didn't tell me what was wrong, or what the antibiotics are supposedly treating...but at this point i'm ready to give them a try.

One of my co-workers, Leela called this morning to see if i was going to the hospital alone, and she offered to come with me. At that time someone else was planning on coming with me - but then plans changed and i ended up going alone. Leela called again tonight to check on me and found out that I'd gone to the hospital alone...and she wasn't very happy with me. Then she asked if i'd eaten lunch, and wanted to know what i'd had for lunch. and then she asked what i was going to eat for dinner - and offered to bring me dinner. I tried to refuse (cause i didn't want to be a bother), but she insisted. So she whipped me up some good home cooked food and delivered it to my flat. With plenty of the special ingredient of love. She did my dishes, asked if I needed any other house work done while she was here, and promised that she'd make me a nice lunch for tomorrow too.

I feel very loved.
