I-Sanctuary

My roommate Stephanie has started (with the help of others) a non-profit called "International Sanctuary." Her long term goal is to buy products made by rescued women from all over the world and sell them in the states. For now she's focused here in South Asia. She's been working with aftercare homes teaching the girls to make jewelry. Now she's in the US selling the jewelry.

The girls are leaning a skill that is fun for them, but could also potentially help support them long term, they're gaining confidence, they're also earning money! I-Sanctuary is also looking into ways to invest back into the homes and find ways to invest in the girls' education/future/healing/wholness/restoration.

The I-Sanctuary website is up and running - and they have an online catalog...so if you want you can buy some great jewelry that is a part of a great cause. (i mean, if you're gonna buy jewelry anyway - why not buy from I-sanctuary?!?)
