i arrived safe, and as planned - no missed flights, or delays or anything crazy like that! woo-hoo! the flight was even shorter than i was planning - and i had an aisle seat, with an empty seat next to me :)
all in all my travel was quite relaxing. i've been working so hard to get everything done before i left, that it was a nice indulgence to watch tv in the airport, and movies on the plane.
i cleared customs just fine...and found my ride no problem at the airport. i'm in my apartment, and have arranged my suitcases so things i need are accessible until i can buy some furnature/things to keep me organized.
there's one thing that just can't go without saying about my apartment...the walls - every last one of them is a very lovely shade of pepto-bismol pink. but what to do? figuring out how to decorate will have to come later. for now, i'll just affectionally dub it "my pretty pink palace."

you made it! I've heard that pink is the new "natural" color...so most things should go with it...right? ha. That's a lie actually. :)
